About Carrie Stone
Carrie developed a love for business and a love for entertaining at an early age. After spending years doing professional theatre, Carrie found herself stretching her business wings in the real estate industry as she not only became a licensed realtor at the age of 18, but she also began a partnership  to buy failing  businesses and turn them into profitable enterprises  from sub shops
to convenience stores. After several life changing experiences, Carrie headed back to the stage
as she started a full time ministry of sharing hope and inspiration through music and personal testimony. That career change led her to Nashville, TN where she once again entered the real estate industry and also formed her first health and wellness company. This is where she met
the love of her life and business partner, Rod. Together they have bought and sold houses, run
a publishing company, developed a new health and wellness company (WantMoreHealth) and shares the responsibility of homeschooling their two children.

Health became a priority to Carrie in her late 20’s as she noticed she was getting more physically challenged as each year went by. Carrie studied health and wellness daily in search of
a cure for her health problems, but after 13 years of searching and seeking medical help and four years in bed, Carrie finally found the answer to her problems.  She now is on a quest to help others to take control of their health so that they can accomplish their destiny and find the fulfillment they desire.  Carrie speaks around the country on gluten intolerance, toxicity and the obesity epidemic. Carrie is a trainer for the fastest growing health and wellness company in the world and she enjoys delivering inspirational messages.  Carrie is currently developing a “Health Assurance” program for companies to help employees to thrive in the workplace  and plans to publish her first book in the beginning of 2009.

Carrie developed a love for leadership and self-improvement after reading How Positive Thinkers Get Powerful Results by Norman Vincent Peale when she was 18 years old. This led her
to aggressively pursue a lifelong journey of research in self-development. Carrie has used the information and experience that she has obtained over the last 20+ years to teach others how to reach their ultimate potential in fulfilling their destinies. Whether coaching one-on-one or speaking to an audience of thousands, she brings piercing honesty and life changing concepts into her vibrant message with a winning combination of hope, humor and inspiration.

Resolving the Resolution Struggle
It's that time of year again, when the New Year's resolutions have been swept under the rug -
soon to be forgotten. Was it really only one month ago that many of us took the time to set those allusive resolutions only to have failed them already a mere 31 days later? If you are guilty of this New Years crime, do not fret. You are not alone. Franklin Covey did a study about resolutions
and found that 35% of the respondents to their survey broke their resolutions by the end of January, while only 23% of those surveyed didn't break them. And what were the two reasons for not following through? Well, 40% said they were too busy and 33% said they were not committed when they began. This startles me a bit since the top three resolutions consistently are to get out of debt, lose weight and get healthy. What the results of this survey show me is that most people are so consumed with merely living their lives that they fail to place importance on their lives. Are we really too busy and uncommitted to get control of our pocketbooks and our waistlines?
And how much time will we spend working if we are sick and unhealthy?

I want to encourage you to begin again. This is a new day. You set those resolutions for a reason. It is not too late to take the steps to get out of debt, to lose those unwanted pounds or to take control of your health. Many people fail at accomplishing their New Year's resolutions simply because they set unrealistic goals or they did not have a definitive plan of action. If your goals were too lofty on January 1, set new ones now that are attainable yet they will stretch you.  For instance, if you need to lose 50 pounds, make a list of simple things you know you need to do to accomplish this and begin to implement these ideas one by one. The worst thing you can do is to overwhelm yourself with too many changes. Instead of resolving to lose 50 pounds, start with ten.  Once you have accomplished that, do ten more. Continue on this path until you have reached your goal. You will be amazed at your results.

The most important thing about re-establishing your resolutions is that it places the importance on you. You are valuable.  You are worth the cost. Beginning usually seems like drudgery and oftentimes feels much like deprivation, but what could be more depriving than being broke and in bad health. Once you have come through the storm of change and have seen your results, I know you will find as so many have that you were worth it. When you love yourself enough to take care of you, imagine how much more you will have to give away to others.
